چکیده مقاله :
Industrial wastewater treatment with low concentration of pollutants is possible only in the presence of high activity hydroxyl radicals. The Fenton reaction allows the formation of hydroxyl radicals in high turbidity wastewater. Hydrogen peroxide reacts with two radical hydroxyl mechanisms and molecular oxygen with contaminants. Due to the relative contribution of each mechanism, the amount of hydrogen peroxide consumed is determined. In response to aniline, the optimal amount of hydrogen peroxide consumed is half the amount of stoichiometry obtained, indicating the contribution of the radical response to aniline degradation. The increase in the level of hydrogen peroxide and iron sulfate prevents the recombination of hydroxyl radicals and thus the efficiency of the reaction increases. Also, in this study, the optimal ratio of iron sulfate to hydrogen peroxide was obtained and the reaction speed and reaction equation were extracted without measuring the changes in the concentration of contaminants over time with using Chemical Oxygen Demand(COD) method.
