چکیده مقاله :
About 90 million tons of dye polluted wastewater are discharged into environment without proper treatment every year, which account for roughly 20% of the industrial wastewater [1]. Among organic dyes, synthetic dyes (such as malachite green (MG), Rhodamine B (RhB), and methyl orange (MO)) are considered to be as important pollutant sources [2]. In This study, γ-Fe2O3@GO were successfully prepared via a facile hydrothermal method. The prepared structure was characterized using XRD, SEM, FT-IR and UV–Vis, and DLS analysis. The photocatalytic activity of the mentioned hybrids was evaluated by identifying and removing dyes in water. It has been determined that methyl orange was removed from 20% to 80% after the addition of the above compound. This work paves a new way to use carbon-based nanomaterial in efficient design for organic pollution degradation in wastewater [3].The photocatalytic activities of the synthesized composite were investigated through the degradation of dye in water under visible light irradiation. The degradation of photocatalytic dyes followed the first-order kinetic equation well, and increasing the catalyst dosage and the optimal initial concentration of dyes were responsible for increasing the photocatalytic degradation. In addition, the reusability of the composite was also studied [4].
