Synthesis and characterization of Ag.ZnO nanocomposite loaded with catechin

چکیده مقاله :
Abstract In this study, Ag.ZnO nanocomposite was synthesized and used as a platform for delivery of a natural antioxidant, catechin (Cat). The final nanocomposite was characterized by FESEM, FTIR, and zeta potential. Based on FESEM images the nanocomposite was spherical and FTIR and zeta potential confirmed the successful synthesis of nanocomposite and loading of antioxidant. Catechin loaded nanocomposite showed .higher antioxidant activity than bare nanocomposite and catechin alone. Based on these results, Ag.ZnO.Cat could be used in biomedical and food industries
