Α-Fe2O3@MoS2@SnCl2 as a Highly Efficient Nano Catalyst for Solvent-Free Esterification of Aromatic Carboxylic Acids

In this study, we investigate the use of a novel catalyst, α-Fe2O3@MoS2@SnCl2 (FMS) nanoparticles (NPs), for enhancing the efficiency of the esterification reaction. The catalyst was characterized using various techniques such as XRD, SEM and EDX. The catalytic activity of FMSNPs was evaluated by conducting esterification reactions under different reaction conditions. The results showed that the presence of the catalyst significantly improved the conversion rate and yield of the desired esters. Furthermore, the catalyst exhibited excellent stability and could be easily recovered and reused without significant loss in activity. Overall, this study demonstrates the potential of FMSNPs as an efficient catalyst for the esterification of benzoic acid and its derivatives with ethanol, offering promising opportunities for industrial applications in the production of ester-based compounds
