Magnetic chitosan: A biocompatible and recyclable catalyst for the synthesis of tetrahydrodipyrazolopyridine and pyrazolopyranopyrimidine derivatives

چکیده مقاله :
The magnetic chitosan was fabricated and characterized by up-to-date analyses. This biocompatible composite was exploited as a recoverable catalyst aiming at the diversity-oriented generation of biological tetrahydropyrazolopyridine and pyrazolopyrimidine derivatives through the reaction of in situ generated pyrazole with aromatic aldehydes, ammonium acetate, and barbituric acid. The present work has outstanding advantages such as providing a new method for the green and optimal synthesis of two valuable heterocycle series and the preparation of a biocompatible catalyst starting from available and cheap materials.
