An efficient and green route for one-pot synthesis of 5-substituted indol chromeno[2,3-b]pyridines

چکیده مقاله :
A heterogenous nanostructure containing tartaric acid, silica, and magnesium bismuthate (SiO2/L-tar/MgBi2O4 ) prepared for the first time and used as catalyst in the one-pot, pseudo four-component condensation of salicylaldehydes, indoles, and malononitrile to achieve 5-substituted indol chromeno[2,3-b]pyridines in the excellent yields at 50 °C under solvent-free condition (Scheme 1). The valuable features of this method are: broad substrate scope, simple procedure, green solvent-free conditions, recovery and reusability, and short reaction times. Chromenopyridines are fused heterocycles that display broad range of biological activities such as cancer chemopreventive, antibacterial, antimyopic, antiproliferative, antiasthmatic, and antihistaminic [1-3].
