Green synthesis of tetrahydropyridines using nano-eggshell/Ti(IV) as a heterogeneous solid acid catalyst

چکیده مقاله :
Multi-component reactions (MCRs) play an essential role in combinatorial chemistry due to one-pot synthesis of various complex molecules, atom economy and effectiveness compared with single step reaction [1]. The five-substituted tetrahydropyridines and their derivatives are known as the nuclear structure in some natural products and synthetic bioactive molecules [2]. The highly functionalized tetrahydropyridines synthesized by multi components reaction of p-substituted anilines, alkyl acetoacetate and aromatic aldehyde derivatives in the presence of different catalysts, such as Ni[SalEn] [3] and citric acid [4]. In the present work, we have reported an efficient five-component reaction protocol for the synthesis of tetrahydropyridine derivatives in the presence of nano-eggshell/Ti(ІV) catalyst as a highly effective heterogeneous catalyst in good to excellent yields under mild reaction
