Synthesis of a new magnetic covalent organic framework as new heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of 1-4 Dihydropyridine

چکیده مقاله :
With the ago advances in “reticular chemistry,” a type of porous materials with a crystalline structure that is known as covalent organic frameworks (COFs) has been developed significantly. COFs are combined of organic building blocks connected through covalent bonds. High specific surface area, high chemical/thermal stability, tailored pore sizes, and permanent porosity are the main merits of COFs [1]. COFs can be used for gas adsorption, sensing, proton conduction, energy storage, drug delivery and catalytic processes [2]. 1,4-Dihydropyridines are one of the most important groups of nitrogen heterocycles that have attracted a lot of attention due to their various medicinal and therapeutic properties. 1,4-Dihydropyridine derivatives are a momentous category of heterocyclic drugs and are widely used as antitumor, hepatoprotective, antiallergic, vasodilator, antifungal, antiatherosclerotic and antianaphylactic agents. Herein, we investigated the catalytic application of a new magnetic covalent organic framework for the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine [3] (Scheme 1).
