چکیده مقاله :
Dye-sensitized Solar cells are the most promising devices among third-generation solar cells because of low cost, easy production, environmental friendliness, and relatively high conversion efficiency [1]. Among the third-generation photovoltaics, quantum dot solar cells (QDSCs) are emerging as a promising candidate due to the unique and versatile characteristics of quantum dots (QDs) including tunable band gap and high absorption coefficient [2]. The design of organic dyes with the architecture of the donor-π bridge-acceptor (D-π-A) to be used in DSSC is a common procedure which is due to the creation of a flexible and highly effective structures [3]. Nitrogen-containing carbon dots were applied to improve the performance of phenazine-sensitized solar cells. The structure of dyes and quantum dots synthesized was confirmed by FT-IR, TEM, XRD, EDS-Map, AFM, DLS, and PL analyses. Current-voltage properties of solar cells sensitized with phenazine and (phenazine/N-CQD) in simulated sunlight with radiation intensity of 100 mWcm-2 at 1.5 AM were evaluated.
