چکیده مقاله :
Supramolecular hosts called cyclodextrins are widely used across various applications. One way to attach a clearly defined host unit to complex systems is through the basic process of replacing a single glucose unit in the native cyclodextrins with a covalent bond at position C-6. The process of preparing these derivatives is quite simple, which is why there are over 1400 publications describing their preparation methods, with many of the reported synthetic techniques being very similar. Deciding on the best-published method for the intended purpose can be quite challenging.[1] The aim of our project is to demonstrate the most efficient and comprehensively elucidated methods for producing 6-O-Monotosyl-6-deoxy-ß-cyclodextrin.
