Design of the MMT-BAC@ Fe3O4@CuNi as highly efficient nanocatalyst for the synthesis of pyrimidines

چکیده مقاله :
In this project, we have successfully designed a new Cu‐Ni alloys nanoparticles immobilized in magnetic organo-modified clay (MMT-BAC@ Fe3O4@CuNi) nanocatalyst for the first time through a simple method. Clay minerals have prominent, different, and interesting features. Due to their high selectivity, compatibility with the environment, low cost and low toxicity, and high surface area, they are considered very effective catalysts for a wide range of organic reactions [1]. The structure of the synthesized catalyst was confirmed by EDX, XRD, TEM, IR, SEM, and ICP techniques. The Heterogeneous nanocatalyst was used in the synthesis of pyrimidines, as highly active pharmaceutical compounds in mild condition [2]. The salient features of this protocol include short reaction time, good to excellent product yield, biocompatible conditions, reusable catalyst, low catalyst loading, wide substrate scope, solvent-free conditions and easy workup conditions
