چکیده مقاله :
Nowadays, a lot of research is done in the field of cyclic compounds. Benzimidazoles are widely used cyclic compounds that have properties such as anti-cancer, anti-allergic, anti-malarial, anti-hypertensive, anti-AIDS and etc. [1]. Because of the widespread use of benzaimidazoles, chemists turned their attention to efficient methods for their synthesis. Also, the design of nanoscale materials is of great importance due to its application in various fields [2]. In this research, a solid acid catalyst with a natural substrate was prepared from the reaction of titanium tetrachloride with cellulose nanoparticles. The structure of nano catalyst was investigated using imaging, spectroscopy and pattern recognition methods such as: BET, EDX(EDS), FESEM, TEM, TGA, XRD and FT-IR. In this research, aromatic diamines and aldehydes were used in the presence of titanium tetrachloride stabilized on nano cellulose as catalyst for the synthesis of benzimidazole derivatives under different conditions (Scheme1). The structure of products was investigated with the help of FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy.
