چکیده مقاله :
In the last years, POPs have been converted to the cornerstone of heterogeneous catalysis. First and foremost, due to maintaining their highly ordered structure, POPs have intrinsic catalytic activity and iodine capture potential. Second, their permanent porosity leads to better mass transport and enhances their catalytic performance. catalytic utilities of POPs are including of photocatalytic reactions, coupling reactions, electrocatalytic processes such as water splitting, degradation processes, oxidation/reduction reactions, asymmetric catalysis and multicomponent reactions [1, 2]. Compounds containing pyridine moieties as one of the most inspiring and beneficial families of N-heterocycles gained the burgeoning attention of the society of researchers. The plethora of utility of pyridines in natural products, functional materials, pharmaceuticals, coordination chemistry and organic catalysis is undeniable [3]. Herein, we designed and synthesized new iodine decorated porous organic polymer by azo linkers and this was applied as a heterogeneous catalyst for the synthesis of divers 2,4,6-trisubstituted pyridine (Scheme 1).
