Catalytic activity of B, S co-doped g-C3N4 supported copper-based MOF in nitroarenes reduction reaction

Nowadays, the heteroatom-doped mesoporous solid substrates were attracted the researcher interest due to their notable properties such as thermal and chemical stability, high specific surface area, facile synthetic procedure and also abundance precursor [1-3]. So, in this study, the innovative and applicable Boron and Sulphur-doped g-C3N4 supported Cu-MOF (Cu@g-BSCN) was prepared through in situ growth of Cu-MOF on the surface of B, S-Doped g-C3N4. The synergistic effect of B and S as the heteroatoms was caused the abundance activated sites due to the structural defect on the surface of the solid substrate. The catalytic effect of this sample was improved by in situ formation of copper-based MOF. The synthesized Cu@g-BSCN) was applied as the efficient heterogenous catalyst in nitroarenes reduction reaction (scheme 1). High performance and desired recoverability are some of the advantageous of this catalytic system.
