Use Thiourea bridged periodic mesoporous organosilica as a catalyst for synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine derivatives

چکیده مقاله :
Nanoporous materials contain nanometer pores, which are only a fraction of nanomaterials. periodic mesoporous organosilica are an exciting group of nanoporous materials that were first reported independently in 1999 by three groups from Canada, the United States, and Japan (1) . We synthesized a thiourea-bridged PMO using 1,3-bis(3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl)thiourea (bis-thiourea) (2) . We have used thiourea-bridged PMO to demonstrate its ability to act as a catalyst in the synthesis of 1,4-dihydropyridine. 1,4-DHPs are recognized as an important class of organic heterocyclic compounds because of their biological, medicinal, and pharmacological activities (3) . In this article, we intend to use sulfur-containing mesoporous organic silica as a catalyst to increase efficiency and reduce the reaction time for the synthesis of 1,4-DHP.
