چکیده مقاله :
Today the water purification is one of the most challenging problems for the human of 21’st century. Water is necessary in all aspects of life, being the defining characteristic of our planet. Most of the chemical and bio chemical reactions are done in presence of water, the life of the living species are dependent on water, water is used to cool down the industrial devices and etc [1]. This is obvious that water treatment is very important and unfortunately due to novel anthropogenic pollutants this problem increasingly has become a dangerous issue for whole world. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) have recently achieved much attention to eliminating toxic pollutants because of their attractive attributes, including large specific surface area, ultra-high porosity, abundant active adsorption sites, tuneable surface chemistry, well-controlled pore size distribution, and strong host–guest interactions. Among the many developed MOFs, the Ce-based MOFs, particularly the UiO-66 family, are considered extremely attractive for wastewater treatment applications. The fascinating properties of UiO-66 such as high thermal stability, superior chemical resistance towards several solvents, including benzene, acetone, different alcohols, dimethylformamide, acidic and basic solution, excellent chemical stability against various conditions such as air, water, and chloroform, and exceptional resistance to high external pressure, mainly due to strong Ce-O bond and high coordination number between the Ce clusters and organic ligands have led to numerous potential applications in wastewater treatment [2]. MOFs are known as a new class of highly porous materials for gas storage and adsorption, photocatalysis, bio medical imaging, ion exchange, water purification, drug delivering and adsorbent and sensing [3]. In this job the Malachite Green (MG) and Congo Red (CR) dyes are pollutant models. Furthermore the Cerium based UiO-66 MOF (Ce-UiO-66) is used as pollutant adsorbent. Many factors Influences the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent. Green synthesis of this MOF is the purpose of this job. Based on the obtained results, this MOF can successfully adsorb both dyes from water with different amounts.
