چکیده مقاله :
The oxidation of aldehydes to produce carboxylic acids is an important transformation in the chemical industry. Aldehydes are widely used as intermediates for the production of perfumes, agrochemicals, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. As part of the growing tendency towards green chemistry, current research in this area has focused on the development of environmentally benign catalytic processes involving the use hydrogen peroxide or molecular oxygen as an oxidant. Work towards the use of H2O2 assisted methods, in particular, has attracted considerable interest because this oxidant is providing a high active oxygen content, generates water as its sole byproduct, and readily available [1]. Polyoxometalates (POMs) have attracted much attention in the fields of acid and oxidation catalysis, because their acidic and redox properties can be designed and tuned at molecular or atomic level. However, the Anderson-type POMs are not well known as catalysts. Anderson-type heteropolyanions ([YM6O24Hx] n−) possess a heteroatom (Y) in a central octahedral cavity of the crown by edge-sharing six octahedral MO6 (M = Mo or W) These polyanions become a family for a number of 2+, 3+, 4+, 6+ and 7+ ions as the heteroatom. They are classified into types of A (x = 0) and B (x = 6) by the number of attached protons [2,3]. Herein, we report the design of a [N(C4H9)4]2[[Cr Mo6O18(OH)3] the catalytic efficiencies in the catalytic properties and stabilities of the synthesized catalyst in the preparation of various carboxylic acids were also investigated (Scheme 1 (.
