Synthesis of Thiazolylaminomethyl-2-naphthols using Glucose-Choline Chloride Deep Eutectic Solvent

چکیده مقاله :
The deep eutectic solvent was prepared from mixing glucose and choline chloride. The deep eutectic solvent was then employed in a one-pot, three-component reaction for the synthesis of some Betti base derivatives. The reactions were implemented using 2-naphthol, aryl/heteroaryl aldehydes, and 2-aminothiazole (or sulfathiazole drug) under solvent-free conditions at 60 ºC. The approach has the merits of good to high reaction yields, short reaction times, easy work-up, environmentally friendliness, atom economy, pot-, and step-economy.
