Tetrazole synthesis and its application as chemosensors

چکیده مقاله :
In recent years, the development of fluorescent chemosensors in both biological and environmental application have attracted increasing attention due to their high sensitivity, simplicity, and real-time monitoring with rapid response time [1]. In this study, the tetrazole derivative, 1,2-Bis(5-Tetrazole) ethane, was synthesized (Scheme 1) [2]. Due to π-electron donating property of the tetrazole rings and also their ability to form the metal complex [3], in this work, the sensor activity of the mentioned sample was studied. For this purpose, a series of different cations, including Cu2+, Co2+, Zn2+, Cr3+, Mg2+, Hg2+, Fe3+, Cd2+, Pb2+, Al3+, K+, Na+, Ca2+, Ag+, Mn2+, Ni2+ were applied.
