The synthesis and characterization a green Bronsted-Lewis Acidic Ionic Liquid catalyst in the preparation of Carbamatoalkyl naphthols

چکیده مقاله :
Ionic liquids (ILs), have been widely applied in many reactions as catalyst, solvent or dual catalyst-solvents due to their strong dissolving capacity, negligible vapor pressure, reusability, and high thermal and chemical stability [1,2]. The appearance of functionalized ILs ranges the application fields of ILs. Acidic ILs are a kind of functionalized ILs, have attracted more interest due to their advantages of both solid and liquid acid. In this work, a green acidic IL catalyst was prepared of aminoacid of histidine with both Brønsted and Lewis acidic sites in the cation and examinated in organic synthesis such as the preparation of carbamatoalkyl naphthols (Scheme 1).
