Preparation of perimidines in the presence of titanium (IV) chloride supported on silica nanoparticles under different conditions

چکیده مقاله :
Perimidines are a type of heterocyclic compounds consisting of quinazoline and another benzene ring. The limitations in this type of reactions, including time limit, environmental parameters, and reuse of the desired catalyst, have led to more studies on perimidine derivatives. Preparation of some pharmaceutical derivates of perimidine in the presence of non-oxidizing catalyst is the safest way for the environment [1-3]. In this research, the reaction between 1,8-naphthalene diamine and various aromatic aldehydes has been investigated using titanium tetrachloride catalyst stabilized on silica nanoparticles under microwave, ultrasonic, thermal and grinding conditions (Scheme1). Titanium tetrachloride immobilized on silica nanoparticles is known as one of the heterogeneous catalysts. The structure of the catalyst was investigated using a SEM, TEM, XRD and etc. The structures of dihydroperimidine derivatives were investigated by 1H NMR and FT-IR.
