چکیده مقاله :
Molecularly imprinted polymer (MMIP) catalysts are catalysts that are synthesized in the presence of a specific template molecule, which is usually the substrate or product of the desired reaction. The template molecule plays a crucial role in creating binding sites within the catalyst that are tailored to its structure. These binding sites are essential for selectively binding to the substrate and facilitating the desired reaction [1, 2]. In the synthesis of a targeted magnetically imprinted polymer (MMIP), octahydroquinazolinone was employed as the template, while 4-vinylpyridine served as the monomer, and vinylized magnetite nanoparticles acted as the carriers. The efficacy of MMIP catalyst was utilized in an octahydroquinazolinone synthesis through a multicomponent Biginelli reaction. The results showed that template and its analogue products were successfully synthesized in water as an absolutely green solvent in appropriate time under reflux condition (Scheme). In addition, reusability of catalyst was effectively examined for 5 successive cycle runs.
