Investigating the solubility of Curcumin in subcritical water as a green solvent

چکیده مقاله :
Curcumin is an anticancer drug with low water solubility. In the present study, the solubility of Curcumin drug in subcritical water was investigated by a static method. Solubility was measured under constant pressure of 15 bar and temperatures between 363.15 K and 423.15 K. The results showed that the mole fraction solubility of Curcumin increases with the increase in subcritical water temperature. The mole fraction solubility values were obtained in the range of 0.017×10-4 < x2 < 0.101×10-4.
