THF polymerization is accounted as a reversible polymerization reaction. Ceiling temperature (Tc) is defined as the temperature at which the rate of polymerization and depolymerization of the polymer are equal. So we investigated the synthesis of PTMEG by a cationic ring opening polymerization Then, the polymerization reaction was performed at different temperatures in order to determine the Tc of the reaction. The highest yield was obtained at 50 °C which was considered as Tc
