Synthesis of pyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazole via a one-pot three-component reaction by using Bentonite/Ti(IV) under Solvent-free Condition

چکیده مقاله :
An efficient and simple one-pot three-component synthesis of novel pyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazole derivatives was carried out by the reaction of aldehyde, 2-aminobenzothiazole, and ethyl acetoacetate in 80°C under solvent-free conditions. In this research, a new natural-based catalyst named Bentonite/Ti(IV) was prepared and characterized by FT-IR, FESEM, TGA, EDS-MAP, XRD, BET, XRF, XPS. This novel catalyst was used for the synthesis of PBT derivatives. Pyrimido[2,1-b]benzothiazoles have attracted notable interest because of significant pharmacological activities [1,2]. Bentonite is absorbent aluminium phyllosilicate clay, As this clay is abundant, non-expensive and natural [3].
