چکیده مقاله :
Water is polluted by many factors, among which industrial wastes are the most important. Adsorption is a mass transfer process that is an effective way to remove waste. The properties of adsorbents are quite specific and depend on their composition. Adsorbent compounds are mainly responsible for removing any specific pollutants from wastewater. Therefore, investigating the effect of different adsorbent properties on the absorption rate is vital. Absorption can be affected by the concentration of organic and inorganic compounds. The adsorption process is strongly influenced by the mixture of many compounds commonly present in water and wastewater. Factors affecting the adsorption process are surface area, nature and initial concentration of adsorbent, solution pH, temperature, interfering substances, and nature and concentration of adsorbent. MOFs are metal-organic frameworks that contain at least two different metal ions as their framework nodes. Although still in their infancy, several applications for multi metallic MOFs (MM-MOFs) are emerging that improve upon conventional monometallic MOFs. In the field of gas absorption and storage, especially the stability and affinity towards the target gases can be greatly improved by introducing the second metal ion.
