Quantum Dot@Hydrogen-Bonded Organic Framework for Highly Efficient Fluorescent Sensing of metronidazole

The structure of n,n′-diethyl-p-phenylenediamine quantum dots prepared via solvent-free methods was studied. Then, core-shell structure of this QD was synthesized by hydrogen bonded organic framework. NMR characterization method demonstrate HOF structure. In addition, XRD and FE-SEM characterization methods confirm which it is a hollow cubic tube crystal structure that it has covered the quantum dot structure. The quantum dot structure showed green color under ultraviolet light. It is excited at 335 nm and emitted in the range of 480-650 nm and maximum wavelength 514. The fluorescence intensity of the QD@HOF could be quenched by the addition of a small amount of metronidazole aqueous solution to %98.
