The one-pot synthesis of 2-(3-(2-imino-3-methyl-5-oxoimidazolidin-4-yl)-2-oxoindolin-3-yl)malononitrile using SiO2-Pr-SO3H under solvent-free conditions

چکیده مقاله :
Nowadays, due to growing demands for green, and efficient chemical processes, the chemical reactions under solvent-free conditions have become very important. In addition, the use of heterogeneous nanocatalysts makes this process easier and more economical due to their easy separation from the reaction mixture, reusability, and eco-friendly conditions. In this study, SiO2-Pr-SO3H was used as a highly efficient heterogeneous solid acid catalyst [1] in a one-pot multicomponent reaction between isatin, malononitrile, and creatinine [2] for the synthesis of 2-(3-(2-imino-3-methyl-5-oxoimidazolidin-4-yl)-2-oxoindolin-3-yl)malononitrile under the solvent-free and mild condition in a short reaction time and high yield (98%)
